Consulting and Technical Support Services

We are dedicated to making it real and making it last. We strongly believe that our assistance both before and after the event ensures a quality experience that will enhance your team. A strategy is developed before your event, to ensure that your team’s experience aligns with your goals. After your event, we will follow-up with your group to help manage the translation of their commitments back into the workplace. Your budget includes consulting time with our facilitators beyond the time of the event as well as one year’s hosting and technical support for your private website. Depending on your requirements, most Value Gatherings include a full-day experience that begins between 8- 9 am and ends between 4-5pm. Half-day experiences are also possible.

We will consult with you ahead of the experience, in order to understand and meet the needs of your team. The following are some examples of exercises that your team may experience. The final agenda will reflect what we discover both before and during the experience.

Flow

A movement exercise that develops awareness of the energy balance in teams. Through observing movement, we discuss individual and team patterns of behavior and generate an awareness of how to create a healthy balance. Participants get comfortable with each other and the environment.

Create a Portable You

A creative arts exercise that allows each individual to share what they value most in their work and home life.

Discover Shared Values

We discuss the values of the group and review their experience; we look at company values and principles and how the group reflects them in its work. We will then develop and cluster these values into value statements and principles to which all agree.

Bringing Values to Life

Following a discussion of shared values, this experience moves principles and values from the abstract to the concrete. Through performance and presentation, segmented teams express values to the rest of the group.

Bring Your Team Success to Life

This experience highlights team success, with a focus on future success demonstrated by segmented teams to the rest of the group through performance and presentation.

Shelter from the Storm

The real world offers challenging weather! Together, your team must create a shelter that all can gather in for safety using ambient materials in a limited time. Afterwards, we discuss the experience in relation to the challenges and successes they experienced, how they cooperated together, and relate that to the work environment.

Create a Communication Culture

The group defines and documents its strategy for communicating within itself. Technical training is provided for using the private website, which is created and transcribed during the Value Gathering with the values, goals and commitments of your team. Next action steps and timelines are transcribed into the website, promoting follow-up to commitments.

Commitments and Learnings

The group identifies commitments they can make as individuals to bringing their values into the workplace, and share learning from the overall experience.
